Solving Linear Equations
What is a function?
Rates of change

Rate of Change
The Rate of Change has two properties, a constant rate of change and a varying rate of change. A constant rate of change creates a straight line and a varying one creates a curve.

Constant and Variable
In an equation there is a variable and sometimes a constant. The variable is the number that varies. The answer of the equation depends on what the variable is. The constant always stay the same. It does not change no matter what the variable is. The bold and underlined section is the variable and the underlined section is the constant.
